Take Flight with Flyways: Libraries and Others Across the Nation Soar into Bird Citizen Science

SciStarter and HHMI Tangled Bank Studios have joined forces to create the Flyways Citizen Science Program, an initiative that aims to engage communities worldwide in the study and conservation of migratory birds.

By visiting the Flyways page on SciStarter, anyone, anywhere in the world can learn more about the Flyways film, discover how to screen the film for their community, and find bird-related citizen science materials to galvanize real scientific research that empowers bird conservation.

The Flyways Citizen Science Program is designed to inspire action and foster a deeper understanding of the importance of migratory birds and their habitats.

Watch a Flyways Webinar

To prepare for the fall bird migration, a special Flyways webinar was held on August 27. This webinar provided an overview of the Flyways program, highlighted the importance of bird conservation, and offered insights into how communities can get involved.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more and get inspired!

Libraries, community-based organizations, and individuals alike are invited to watch the recording. Watch the recording here.
