Colleen has a passion for natural history, ecology, and environmental science. Having done field courses in both the Galapagos and the Sea of Cortez, Colleen knew that she had to bring her infatuation for the ocean to her line of work. Colleen provides support for Surfrider's Blue Water Task Force ​labs across the country, assisting with the growth of new and existing labs, coordinating logistics and helping communicate critical water quality information to the public. Colleen also serves as the Eastern Long Island Chapter Coordinator, overseeing the clean water and plastic pollution programs programs and campaigns of her local chapter on the east end of Long Island, New York. Colleen brings the spirit of Surfrider wherever she goes.
