Tuesday, May 27

Onboarding Research Libraries to Citizen Science (10AM – 1PM): Join Darlene Cavalier, Founder of SciStarter and Professor of Practice at ASU and partners Karen Ciccone, NSCU, Anne Kathrine Overgaard, SDU and Thomas Kaarsted, SDU, for an action-oriented workshop designed for research libraries. 

Wednesday, May 28

Interest in Public Libraries as Community Hubs for Citizen Science (10:45 AM – 12:15 PM): Led by SciStarter team members Tara Cox, Director, Partnerships and Emma Giles, Director, Programs and Operations and partners and Clea Montanari, ECSA, Nurfarawahidah Badruesham, Library UiTM Pahang/ Universiti Malaya/CitizenScience.Asia and Vivienne Byrd, LAPL. This session will highlight proven strategies and real-world examples of how libraries around the globe are driving citizen science initiatives.
