Citizen Science Day falls on Saturday, April 13, and we are encouraging you to celebrate by doing citizen science!
There are so many ways to engage.
The featured activity this year is the Stall Catchers Megathon, a gamified, inter-generational way to accelerate research on Alzheimer’s! Participate from home or join a team at a local library. If you want to organize or join a meet-up, or if you just want information to participate in citizen science projects at home, SciStarter.org/Citizen-Science-Day has materials relevant to you.

Stall Catchers is a game for people of all ages to help advance Alzheimer’s research through identifying stalled or flowing blood vessels in videos of mice brains. These annotations advance the work of researchers at Cornell. Stall Catchers is the featured activity of Citizen Science Day, and you can find resources and a sign-up form at Megathon.us to organize or join a meet-up at a local library or institution.
